1978-79 English League Champion Liverpool FC Team Signed Soccer Ball Beckett COA

Managed by the iconic Bob Paisley, Liverpool FC once again won the English League title in 1978-79, the 11th in its storied history as they were led by forward Kenny Dalglish and midfielder Graeme Souness, along with the mostly impenetrable Ray Clemence between the pipes. Presented here is a Sondico football (soccer ball) that has been signed by 14 members of the title-winning 1978-79 Reds’ squad (15 total signatures). All of the signatures have been signed in black marker and include Kenny Dalglish, Graeme Souness, Ray Clemence, Alan Kennedy, Phil Thompson, Steve Heighway, Emlyn Hughes, David Fairclough, Phil Neal, Terry McDermott (signed twice), David Johnson, Alan Hansen, Ray Kennedy and Jimmy Case. “LIVERPOOL F.C. 1978-79 SEASON” is also written in black marker on one of the panels.
