$1,499.00

Presented is the third base bag used between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series on Oct. 19 during the 2009 MLB postseason and signed by Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez. After securing the always-important Game 1 victory, followed by a Game 2 victory on the back of an A-Rod walkoff home run, the Yankees sought to take a commanding 3-0 lead over the Angels. However, the Angels managed to salvage their first home game of the series, outlasting the Yankees in 11 innings, 5-4. Rodriguez has penned his flowing signature in black marker across the top of the base. The underside of the base is labeled "Set 2 Game 3 3rd Base." Branded on one side of the base is a red placard that reads "2009 POSTSEASON" flanked by a pair of Angels' logos, and another side is a red placard that reads "ALCS 2009." The base exhibits excellent game use, with dirt staining and cleat marks present throughout. The base comes with an MLB Authenticated Hologram (LH429595), who notes that the base was used between the 4th and 6th innings. The base also comes with an LOA from Steiner for signature.
