Advanced collectors hit the autograph jackpot, with this Official NAtional League /Giles baseball signed by Hall of Fame titans Cy Young, Ted Williams, and "Dazzy" Vance. Warren Giles began his lengthy term as NL President in 1951, and Young passed away in 1955. Williams (d.2002) claimed the sweet spot for his signature, so Young signed on the north panel, and Vance (d.1961) signed on the south panel. All this indicates this ball was signed during a time, when TV was still a relatively new wonder in the world.
