Beautiful 1955 Roy Campanella Pre Accident Single Signed Baseball PSA DNA COA
1955 baseball signed by Hall of Fame catcher Roy Campanella in blue fountain pen across the sweet spot. Campanella single-signed baseballs dating from his playing career are perhaps the greatest rarity of post-1950 Hall of Famer single-signed balls. Although Campanella was a very obliging signer during his playing career, his signature alone on a ball remains exceedingly rare today because of his tragic car accident in January 1958 that left him paralyzed in both arms and legs. This is one of only a very small number of Campanella pre accident single-signed balls known to exist, and even many of the most advanced single-signed Hall of Fame ball collections are without one. There are only six known to exist in the hobby and this is the only known sweet spot single signed ball. Comes with full letter PSA DNA COA.
