Rare Ted Williams signed bat featuring not only his signature on the barrel but also a personal handwritten inscription commemorating his historic 1941 season in which he batted .406. The signature and inscription, which reads "Ted Williams/1941 - .406," has been rendered in mint blue Sharpie directly below the barrel stamping. #30/66 has been scripted in blue Sharpie above Williams' signature. The bat, produced by Louisville slugger, is a replica of Williams' H&B signature-model "W215" bat that he used during his career. A "Green Diamond" hologram label is affixed to the barrel (Green Diamond was Williams' personal marketing company). The bat (35 inches in length) is in Mint condition. An outstanding example of this rare and highly desirable specially inscribed Ted Williams commemorative bat. Full LOA by PSA/DNA. Full LOA from JSA with MINT 9 grade.
