When the St. Louis Browns moved to the east in 1954, and rebranded as the Baltimore Orioles, it took a dozen years but the team finally blossomed into a force to be reckoned with. During the period 1966-1974, the O’s won 2 World Series championships, 4 American League pennants, and 5 AL East Division titles. From the height of this dynastic period, comes this 1970s World Champion Orioles team-signed bat.
This game issued Louisville Slugger is a 1969-1972 professional Boog Powell signature model in attractive condition with moderate wear including multiple small nicks on the handle. The model number “O16” is stamped into the knob, and Powell’s uniform number “26” is written over it. A total of (19) members of the 1970 World Champion Orioles team have signed on the barrel. Featured signers include: George Bamberger (coach), Mike Belanger, Paul Blair, Terry Crowley, Moe Drabowsky, Andy Etchebarren, Jim Frey (coach), Elrod Hendricks, Davey Johnson, Marcelino Lopez, Dave McNally, Tom Phoebus, Merv Rettenmund, Pete Richert, Boog Powell, Frank Robinson (HOF), Chico Salmon, George Staller (coach) and Earl Weaver (HOF, manager). Full LOA from John Taube-PSA/DNA for the bat.

Comes with full letter COA from JSA.
