1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series Champs Team Signed Baseball
Official National League baseball (Giles) signed in blue ink by the following 21 members of the 1955 World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers: Campanella, Alston (Mgr., sweet spot), Snider, Reese, Hodges, Amoros, Roebuck, Erskine, Labine, Zimmer, Bessent, Newcombe, Hoak, Meyer, Walker, Kellert, Pitler (coach), Furillo, Spooner, Podres, and Gilliam. The notation "1955 Champs" is written below Alston's signature on the sweet spot. 1955 marked the Dodgers' only World Championship in Brooklyn, and team-signed balls from that historic season have always been highly prized by collectors. This example is also notable for the absence of any "clubhouse" signatures, which are quite common for 1950s Dodgers team balls. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
