[World War Two Baseball]. SIGNED GAME BALL. Game 3 of the US Navy Baseball All-Star Series (September 30, 1945).

Game 3 of the classic series was meant to be played on September 29, but was postponed one day due to inclement weather.  This ball is signed by more than a dozen of the players on the field that day, including Stan Musial and Ted Williams (who hit a homerun in a losing cause, as the National League defeated the American League by a score of 6-3).

This amazing baseball belonged to the collection of a naval historian.

Including the all-important Ted Williams and Stan Musial signatures, the ball is signed by twenty-one players, including managers Bill Dickey and Schoolboy Rowe.
