1975 John Lennon Signed "The Beatles: An Illustrated Record" Book - Bold Blue-Ink Signature on Rare Medium of Full-Color Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band Image.

According to Beatles expert Frank Caiazzo's letter, "The signature was obtained in mid-May of 1975, when John was the special guest host at WFIL studios 'Helping Hands Marathon' in Philadelphia--a 3 day event to raise money for charitable organizations in the area." This was shortly after publication of the New York Times bestselling The Beatles: An Illustrated Record, Roy Carr and Tony Tyler's album-sized pictorial discography of the Beatles years. Lennon's blue-ballpoint signature begins directly above his head and extends all the way to George Harrison. The picture of course hails from the Fab Four's 1967 photo shoot for Sgt. Pepper, and as such, is seldom seen signed. Hard to believe that this year will be the 45th anniversary of Lennon's death--and 85th anniversary of his birth. Scattered minor creasing and handling wear. Full letter Beckett LOA. Caiazzo LOA.
