They would go on to win the World Series over the Houston Astros, the Mets last World Series victory to date. Thirty-five former Mets including National Baseball Hall of Famer Gary Carter, and fellow stars Ron Darling, Jesse Orosco, Howard Johnson, Wally Backman, Ray Knight, Davey Johnson, Daryl Strawberry, Lenny Dykstra, Sid Fernandez, George Foster, Mookie Wilson, Dwight Gooden, Rick Aguilera, and Kiki Hernandez have penned their blue ink signatures across the entirety of the baseball, with Davey Johnson signing the sweet spot (35 signatures). The off-white baseball exhibits minor scuffs with red Rawlings manufacturer's stampings. LOA from JSA for the signature accompanies (Z22956).
