His third full season in the NBA after a two-year hiatus at the beginning of his career to serve in the U.S. Navy, Robinson appeared in 68 games for the Spurs, averaging 23.2 points per game with 12.2 rebounds and a league-leading 4.5 blocks to earn his third of seven consecutive All-Star nominations.
