Offered is a Minneapolis Lakers #99 jersey signed by inaugural Hall of Famer George Mikan. Mikan played for the Chicago American Gears and the Minneapolis Lakers, encompassing three leagues – The National Basketball League, the Basketball Association of America (BAA), and the NBA. Mikan won five BAA/NBA titles and two NBL titles and was the 1948 NBL MVP. Mikan was a four-time NBA All-Star, the 1953 NBA All-Star Game MVP, and was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. The offered jersey features "MPLS." and the number "99" on the chest in gold tackle twill. The number "99" appears on the jersey's back in gold tackle twill. Mikan placed a bold and large blue marker signature and the inscription "HOF 59" across the chest. The jersey comes with a sticker from Beckett Authentic (BM21980) for the signature and inscription.
