Circa 1935 George Raft Single Signed Baseball. The star actor of crime melodramas in the 1930's and 1940's was at the peak of his fame when this Official National League (Frick) ball was presented to him for signing. Raft actually played a bit of minor league ball in his youth, but this sphere clearly derives from his silver screen prime. Ball is in excellent condition. Presented in original cardboard box. This piece comes from a terrific collection of autographed items that were obtained, in person, by a young lady from St. Louis during the 1930s. All of the objects were saved and cared for by her family since then.
