Each shoe is signed "LeBron James" on toe of respective shoe.
Inside of the shoes feature tagging that reflect James' size 16 and PROMO designations indicative of being issued directly to the NBA's all-time scoring leader.
Additionally, the original factory box included is labeled to the attention of Nike basketball executive Ted Curvy, further solidifying provenance of these kicks.
James, who signed his endorsement deal with Nike prior to his rookie season in the NBA, has partnered with the brand to create some of the greatest performance basketball shoes ever made. Early versions of the Soldier series, created for outdoor play, were defined by the midsole and heel straps. According to Soldier line designer Jason Petrie, 'All of it was built around giving LeBron lockdown, so we created a shoe completely based around it, giving him this totally protected, contained force for his feet.
