This wonderful 1972-73 Los Angeles Lakers team signed basketball showcases Hall of Famers Wilt Chamberlain and Jerry West on the same panel. The Spalding Official NBA Game Issued basketball has "LOS ANGELES LAKERS" stamped in the same panel as the Hall of Fame autographs. Other notable signors include Pat Riley (HOF), Gail Goodrich (HOF), Jim McMillan, Leroy Ellis, Keith Erickson, Flynn Robinson, John Trapp, and Lakers longtime trainer Frank O'Neill.
A season after winning it all after a resounding 4-1 series victory over the Knickerbockers in the 1972 NBA Finals, the Lakers won the west and made it back for a rematch with New York. This time, it was the Knicks who prevailed in five.
The basketball remains in excellent condition and would be a great fit for any vintage basketball collection or Lakers aficionado. Includes full LOA from PSA/DNA.
