For many years, the quaint little Borough of Brooklyn had a love-hate relationship with a baseball team the locals often referred to as "Dem Bums". From the midst of this diamond engagement, comes this 1930 Brooklyn Dodgers team-signed Official National League Heydler game used baseball. Hall of Famers Al Lopez and "Dazzy" Vance lead the way, and all (11) signers have passed away, including Neil Finn, who met his demise in 1933. The period-signed autographs include:
Sweet spot: Adolfo Luque (d.1957), "Babe" Herman (d.1987);
North panel: "Dazzy" Vance (d.1961, HOF), Glenn Wright (d.1984), Del Bissonette (d.1972);
East panel: Hollis Thurston (d.1973), Ray Bressler (d.1966);
West panel: Al Lopez (d.2005, HOF), Johnny Frederick (d.1977), Neal Finn (d.1933) and Wally Gilbert (d.1958).
