Sold out

The history contained in this lightly toned baseball is astounding, as it includes 12 signatures from participants of the first edition MLB All-Star Game, held on July 6, 1933. Known as the "Midsummer Classic," this was the first exhibition game between the National and American Leagues, was part of the 1933 Chicago World's Fair during Chicago's centennial, and was held at Comiskey Park. The ball features signatures in blue and black ink from Hall of Famers Lefty Gomez, Charlie Gehringer, Carl Hubbell, Bill Terry, Rick Ferrell, and Bill Dickey, with additional signatures from Wally Berger, Ben Chapman, Hal Schumacher, Dick Bartell, Tony Cuccinello, and Woody English. The inscription "First All Star Game 1933" appears on the ball. The ball is accompanied by an LOA from Beckett for the signatures.
