Offered is an Official American League William Harridge baseball signed by 27 members of the World Series champion New York Yankees. After winning consecutive World Championships in 1936, 1937, and 1938, the 1939 edition of the Bronx Bombers was even stronger than its predecessors. Even with the retirement of Lou Gehrig early in the season, the Yanks plowed through the competition, finishing with a 106-45 record and 17 games in front of the nearest team. The Yankees then swept the Cincinnati Reds in the World Series; the second year in a row, they won the Series in four straight games.

The Reach baseball is signed by 27 members of the 1939 World Series champion New York Yankees and includes signatures from Hall of Famers Joe DiMaggio, Red Ruffing, Lefty Gomez, Bill Dickey, and Earl Combes. Other key signatures include those of Spud Chandler, Charlie Keller, Buddy Rosar, Johnny Murphy, and Donald Atley. Please note that that the signatures for both Lou Gehrig and Joe McCarthy are clubhouse signatures. The ball comes with an LOA from JSA (X32690) and an LOA from PSA/DNA (AM00204) for the signatures. Comes with original box from the 1930's.
