Game ball dating to the 1947 World Series between the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers, signed by members of the umpiring crew. Official American League (Harridge) ball would have been from a contest at Yankee Stadium, ball is heavily toned with faint stampings. Handwritten is a somewhat faded "World Series Umpires 1947" on a side panel but the signatures have stood up well, including: Bill McGowan, Babe Pinelli, Eddie Rommel, Larry Goetz, Jim Boyer, and George Magerkurth. The Bronx Bombers prevailed in the thrilling 7-game series, capturing the finale at the Stadium. PSA LOA.
