1969 Seattle Pilots Inaugural Team Signed Baseball JSA COA RARE

$1,499.00

1969 Seattle Pilots Team Signed Baseball. The 1969 Seattle Mariners did not exist-they were not yet an MLB franchise. The confusion likely comes from the Seattle Pilots, who were the city's first Major League Baseball team and played their only season in 1969. The Pilots struggled both on the field (finishing 64-98) and financially, leading to their relocation to Milwaukee in 1970, where they became the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Seattle Mariners were later established as an expansion team in 1977, filling the void left by the Pilots and officially bringing long-term Major League Baseball back to Seattle.

Offered is a baseball signed by sixteen members of the squad. Among the signees are Don Mincher, Sal Maglie, Diego Seguí, Gus Gil, and more.

Comes with full letter JSA COA.
