The 1938 National League MVP and 1986 Hall of Fame inductee remains a tough challenge for collectors of Cooperstown singles, due in large part to Lombardi's passing nine years before his enshrinement. While the ball is graded 2 by PSA/DNA, the autograph grade (8) makes up for any shortcomings. Given the use on the ball, it definitely saw game action.
