Exceptional World Boxing Council championship belt signed by twenty different boxing stars and legends, including George Foreman and Floyd Mayweather Jr. One of boxing's four sanctioned organizations governing bouts, the WBC has a decades-long history that counts many noteworthy fighters among its list of champions, including Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Joe Frazier, Manny Pacquiao, and Floyd Mayweather. The offered belt, which is not attributed to any particular fighter, is the same style that would be presented to any WBC champion. It features a large gold medallion on the front with "World Champion" at top, "WBC" along the bottom, and the flags of all member countries circling the perimeter. A generic fighter is positioned in the middle, arm raised, flanked by two views of the world. The belt, which measures approximately three feet in length and weighs approximately three pounds, is made of green leather, which exhibits significant wear and cracking from age. Three of the twenty signatures, including that of Floyd Mayweather, appear on the front of the belt, and the balance are on the reverse. A full LOA from James Spence/JSA accompanies the piece, and JSA has identified the signatures of five Hall of Famers (Larry Merchant, George Foreman, Mark Breland, Mark Ratner, and Jose Sulaiman) as well as five noteworthy key signatures (Floyd Mayweather Jr., Bobby Czyz, Roger Mayweather, Cornelius Boza-Edwards, and Manuel Medina). The belt retains an overall excellent display value, with the aforementioned wear to the leather along with minor tarnishing to the buckles and the center medallion. This piece originates from the collection of a longtime boxing trainer who worked with numerous notable fighters throughout his career. It would be an ideal piece for any boxing enthusiast. Full LOA from James Spence/JSA.
