Frankie Frisch Single Signed Official National League Baseball Beckett COA

$4,995.00

Presented is an Official National League Ford C. Frick baseball signed in black ink by former New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Frank Frisch on the sweet spot. To the left of the autograph, Frisch has added the inscription "8/12/45;" during the inscribed date, Frisch would have been the manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates, a tenure that came after his management of the Cardinals and before he took the job of Chicago Cubs skipper. A talented batsman who was perhaps an even better fielder, Frisch hit .300 or better in 13 of his 19 seasons; he won four World Series titles—two with the Giants and two with the Cardinals—the last of which occurred while he was a player-manager for the Red Birds. Sadly, Frisch, a 1947 Hall of Fame inductee, passed away in 1973 at the age of 75. Comes with an LOA from Beckett for the signature and date inscription.
