Offered is an Official NBA David J. Stern Spalding basketball signed by Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon. Drafted No. 1 overall by the Houston Rockets from the nearby University of Houston, Olajuwon carved out a Hall of Fame career that included back-to-back titles in 1994 and 1995 and cemented the great center as one of the game's greatest players. It's often overlooked that Olajuwon was drafted before Michael Jordan. Still, the Rockets used their No. 1 pick to take the best big man available, becoming an icon for the Rockets' franchise and the city of Houston.
This basketball features "SPALDING" stamped on two panels in black, with "HOUSTON ROCKETS" stamped in black between. Olajuwon's flowing signature and the inscription "#34" appear in black marker between the "SPALDING" panels. The signature is bold, and the ball stands in overall good condition.
