Presented is the opportunity to possess a terrific offering - an autographed baseball that contains not only the 1915 New York Giants team-signed autographs, including the signature of Inaugural Hall of Famer Christy Mathewson, but incredible additional autographs: Inaugural Hall of Famers Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb, Hall of Famer Hughie Jennings, Hall Of Famer Ban Johnson (Sweet Spot, First President Of The American League), Hall of Fame umpire Billy Evans, Hall of Fame umpire Bill Klem, and John K. Tener (President Of The National League). The ball itself, a Reach Official American League Ball, dates to 1913-17. This is the only Ban Johnson signed baseball known to exist.

Mathewson, the all-time National League wins leader with 373, played his entire Major League career (except for a token pitching appearance in 1916 with the Cincinnati Reds) with the New York Giants (1900-16). He threw two no-hitters, won two pitching Triple Crowns, and led the Giants to the 1905 World's Championship. He signed in black fountain pen on a side panel. Ruth, the only player to have won both a yearly home run title and a seasonal ERA Crown, finished with 714 homers and a 94-46 pitching record. He signed in black fountain ink above the "American League Ball" stamp. The ferocious Ty Cobb once held both the MLB hit (4,189) and stolen base (897) records. The Georgia Peach signed in black fountain ink on a side panel. Hughie Jennings had a career .311 batting average while playing for six Major League teams, most notably the famous Baltimore Orioles of 1994-96. Later, he became a noted manager. Bill Klem was a National League umpire from 1905-41, working a record 18 times in the World Series. In addition to Mathewson, signatures from the 1915 Giants include: Arthur Fletcher, Fred Snodgrass, Fred Merkle, Larry Doyle, Hans Lobert, Eddie Grant, Red Murray, Sailor Stroud, George Burns, Pol Perritt, Ferdie Schupp, Harry Smith, Hank Ritter, Fred Brainard, Chief Meyers, Rube Schauer and Lew Wendell. Other signatures include Doc Marshall and umpire Olli Chill. The ball is in very good condition. Comes with Full LOA from PSA.
