1985-86 Los Angeles Lakers Team Signed Basketball with HOFers Abdul-Jabbar, Johnson plus 11 PSA/DNA LOA
This Official Spalding BRONZE SERIES Store Model Basketball has been signed by 13 members of the 1985-1986 Los Angeles Lakers. Signatures include Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Byron Scott, Kurt Rambis and eight more. 13 signatures in all with Jerry West being clubhouse, the Lakers took 3rd place that year behind the Champion Boston Celtics.
The Lakers entered the season as the defending NBA champion, having defeated the previous NBA champion and rival Boston Celtics in the 1985 NBA Finals in six games, having finally defeated the Celtics in the NBA Finals after having lost to them eight consecutive times in the championship series. The Lakers looked to repeat as NBA Champions, after sweeping the San Antonio Spurs in three games in the First Round, and then defeating the Dallas Mavericks in six games in the Semi-finals in the playoffs, but were unable to defend their title, as they lost to the Houston Rockets in the Conference Finals in five games after winning the first game, but proceeded to lose the following four. Some very tough signatures on this basketball making it a must for the advance Lakers Man Cave fan. PSA/DNA LOA included.
