Dubbed "The Dream Team" due to the sheer amount of NBA talent assembled on one team, the 1992 United States Men's Olympic Basketball Team steamrolled through their international opponents during the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Going a perfect 8-0, the Dream Team clobbered their opponents by an average of 44 points per game, defeating Croatia to earn the gold medal. The team was credited with spreading awareness of basketball worldwide, and the greatest team ever assembled was enshrined collectively in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
Presented is a Spalding NBA basketball that has been signed by 12 members of that historic Dream Team squad. All of the signatures have been accomplished in black felt tip marker and include Hall of Famers Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Scottie Pippen, Clyde Drexler, Chris Mullin, David Robinson, Lenny Wilkens, Christian Laettner, .
