2011 Bryce Harper Rookie Game Used Washington Nationals Minor League Suns Jersey
One of the earliest known Bryce Harper Game Used Jerseys on earth:
Before bursting onto the Major League scene, the 2012 National League Rookie of the Year Bryce Harper played in 72 games of the 2011 season with the Hagerstown Suns, the Single-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Harper’s .318 batting average, 14 home runs and 46 RBI earned him a promotion to AA Harrisburg later in the season.
Offered is the Hagerstown Suns’ home jersey worn by Harper during his 72-game stay in Maryland. This size 48 Wilson button-down knit jersey has “SUNS across the chest in black and orange tackle twill. Harper’s “34” is sewn on in orange and black below the team name on the center left chest. Black piping surrounds the collar and runs down each side of the buttons. The back of the jersey has “HARPER” screen printed in black and orange on a matching white nameplate. Part of the “R”, “P” and “E” in his last name have the black print either peeled away or is peeling. Harper’s “34” is sewn on in black and orange tackle twill and the MILB logo patch is sewn on the base of the neck. Each sleeve has black piping a ½ inch off the end of the sleeves and an American Flag patch outlined in yellow is sewn on the left sleeve above the embroidered Wilson logo in black. The Wilson and size tags are sewn on the inside neck. The jersey shows very nice game use and comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
