Presented is a limited-edition 2000 team signed New York Yankees World Series home jersey with 29 Signatures including Hall of Famers Joe Torre, Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera. The signatures, in black and blue marker down the left and right front flaps, include Joe Torre and Derek Jeter above the navy-blue interlocking “NY” logo on the left chest, as well as Paul O’Neill, Mariano Rivera, Chris Chambliss, Doc Gooden, David Cone, Mel Stottlemyre and Willie Randolph, and the signatures of Andy Pettitte (inscribed “3-Peat” below his signature), Tony Cloninger, Jose Canseco, Luis Polonia, Mike Stanton and Don Zimmer on the right flap. The right sleeve of the white with navy-blue pinstripes jersey has an orange, blue, silver, gray and white embroidered 2000 World Series logo patch above the navy-blue embroidered “R” for Russell Athletic. The back of the jersey has the navy-blue number “2”. This jersey is inscribed “19/126” in blue marker in the lower left flap. In the 2000 World Series, the Yankees defeated the Mets, four games to one, to win their third consecutive championship and 26th overall. The series was often referred to as the "Subway Series", referring to the longstanding matchup between New York baseball teams; it was the first World Series contested between two New York teams since the 1956 World Series.
