Offered is a limited-edition “3000 Hit Club” members-signed commemorative baseball bat with 14 signatures, including Hall of Famers Derek Jeter, Carl Yastrzemski and Stan Musial, as well as Major League Baseball’s all-time “Hit King” Pete Rose. The signatures, all in blue marker, are arrayed around the barrel of the Louisville Slugger bat and include Hall of Famers George Brett, Lou Brock, Paul Molitor, Robin Yount, Eddie Murray, Al Kaline, Rod Carew, Dave Winfield, Willie Mays and Hank Aaron. The bat is engraved with the caption “3000 Hit Club 42 of 72” at the end of the barrel. There have been 32 total players to reach the 3,000-hit mark in Major League Baseball history. Of these, 17 were right-handed batters, 13 were left-handed, and two were switch hitters. Six players—Aaron, Mays, Murray, Rafael Palmeiro, Albert Pujols and Alex Rodriguez—are also members of the 500 Home Run Club. Rose, the current record holder, finished his career with 4,256 hits.
