Derek Jeter & Tino Martinez Signed Game Used Tino Martinez Day Base Steiner JSA

$1,495.00

Tino Martinez's tenure with the New York Yankees wasn't as long as some of the other great Yankee icons from the team's dynastic run in the 1990s, but boy was it filled with accomplishment. From 1996 to 2001, had a 162-game average of 31 home runs and 121 RBI, emerging as a deadly left-handed lynchpin in the middle of a lineup that featured names like Derek Jeter, Bernie Williams, and Paul O'Neill. In the six seasons, he spent with the Yankees—prior to returning to the team in his final season in 2005—Martinez and the Yankees appeared in the World Series five times, winning the title in four of those appearances.

Presented is the first base used in the sixth and seventh innings on Tino Martinez Day on June 21, 2014. The base has been signed by Tino Martinez and his former teammate and New York Yankee legendary shortstop Derek Jeter. Both have penned their flowing signatures in black marker. With Martinez as a spectator, Jeter singled in the eighth inning for his only hit of the game against the Baltimore Orioles in a 6-1 loss. The base exhibits excellent wear, with dirt stains throughout, and comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ164003) for game use, a COA from Steiner, and an LOA from JSA for Tino Martinez and Derek Jeter's signature, respectively.
