Louisville Slugger M159 model wood bat produced for former Detroit Tigers catcher Andy Allanson autographed by members of the 1991 Detroit Tigers team and coaching staff, including Sparky Anderson, Alan Trammell, Lou Whitaker, Mickey Tettleton, Tony Phillips and Cecil Fielder. ‘Kansas City Royals’ is engraved on the bat barrel directly below an engraving of Allanson’s autograph. We believe this bat was made for Allanson some time after he joined the Royals as a free agent in January 1991, and was likely acquired by the Tigers after Allanson was traded to Detroit in March 1991, days before the MLB season began. Item was signed in the presence of Michigan Sports Hall of Fame officials and is guaranteed authentic.
