Veach, a career .370 hitter from 1912 to 1925, has penned his flowing signature in black steel-tip fountain pen ink across the panel adjacent to the baseball's sweet spot. The baseball, which exhibits a heavy circulated manner of appearance consistent with a ball nearly a century old, comes with an LOA from JSA (X00647) for signature. The experts at JSA notes "an unexplained abrasion on the west panel with ink remnants suggests signature removals."
