The 36-year-old Silver Fox switched coasts (again!) in 1963, playing a single season with the Mets and earning his first All-Star selection since '56. He also collected his 2,000th hit and 400th HR. Snider's vintage black-ink signature appears on the south panel of this ONL (Giles) ball, which is inscribed in an unidentified hand, "Last Day At Polo Grounds / Sept. 19 1963." (Strictly speaking, the last Polo Grounds game was played on September 18th.) Some bleeding to ink throughout. LOA from Beckett.
