1979 San Francisco Giants Marc Hill Game Used Actual Home Run Baseball.

The following is from the person who obtained this ball:

Story goes as follows:  I attended the NY Mets vs San Francisco Giants baseball game at Shea Stadium on Sunday, July 15, 1979.  I was sitting down the left field line in the outfield.  Marc Hill, a catcher for the SF Giants, hit a home run that just cleared marking on the left field wall and bounced back into the field.  Steve Henderson, left fielder for the Mets, picked up the ball and tossed it to me in the stands.

I brought the ball with me to the next Mets game I attended, which was against the Montreal Expos on August 11, 1979.  Prior to the game, outside the Press Gate, I obtained autographs from the following Expos players....TONY PEREZ, LARRY PARRISH, BILL LEE, DUFFY DYER & Deceased HOF Great and Expos announcer at the time DUKE SNIDER.

Once again, I brought the ball with me to the next Mets game I attended which was vs the Pittsburgh Pirates on September 9, 1979 (because I wanted to have Steve Henderson sign it).  I was able to add signatures from STEVE HENDERSON and DAN NORMAN of the Mets.  In addition, I added Pirates closer KENT TEKULVE and Deceased Umpire JOHN MCSHERRY.  There is one other signature that I cannot recall on the ball.
