Joe Mauer Career Hit #1125 Signed Game Used Actual Hit Baseball MLB Authentic
Minnesota Twins legend Joe Mauer, the 2009 American League MVP, is the only catcher in MLB history to win three batting titles. In 2012, his fifth All-Star season, he had 174 hits—including 10 home runs—and a batting average of .319. Mauer retired in 2018 with 2,123 total hits. Two of those hits came during the May 8, 2012, game, a 5-0 win for the Twins over the Los Angeles Angels. Presented is the Official Major League Allan H. Selig baseball pitched in the bottom of the third inning by Dan Haren to Mauer, who knocked a fly ball to left field for a double, marking the 1,125th hit of his career. Mauer has gone on to sign the baseball on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen, adding the inscription "Career Hit #1125," also on the sweet spot, as well as "vs Haren" on the panel directly below. The baseball displays solid evidence of use, including dirt residue and scuffing across the surface. The ball comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ763804). Comes with full letter Beckett COA.
