Rare Justin Verlander & Wife Kate Upton Signed Game Used Baseball Beckett COA

$2,195.00

Presented is an Official Major League Robert D. Manfred Jr. stamped baseball that was used during the July 30, 2017, MLB game and signed by Cy Young Award winner Justin Verlander and his wife, actress and supermodel Kate Upton. Verlander threw this ball for five pitches in the top of the second inning when he was pitching for the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park against his future team, the Houston Astros. Verlander threw three pitches to Marwin Gonzalez (a ball, a strike, and eventually a ground out to second base), plus two pitches to Brian McCann (a ball and a foul ball, making the ball out of play). The Tigers ultimately defeated the Astros 13-1 in the game. Verlander and Upton signed their names across the sweet spot in blue pen, with Verlander's signature to the right with the inscription "35." The ball displays heavy game use and comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JB862945) for the game use and an LOA from Beckett Authentication Services (AB50940), authenticating both signatures.
