1976 Kansas City Royals Team Signed American League Baseball George Brett PSA
For the first time in franchise history, the Kansas City Royals advanced to the American League Championship Series. Posting a 90-72 record, the Royals won the West Division by 2-1/2 games over the Oakland A's to face the Thurman Munson and Catfish Hunter-led New York Yankees. KC ultimately fell to the Bronx Bombers in five games. On a side note, despite leading the AL in hits, batting average, triples and total bases, KC's All-Star third baseman George Brett finished second in AL MVP voting to New York catcher Thurman Munson. The offered OAL baseball has been signed by 30 Kansas City Royals including All-Star Hal McRae and Hall of Famers George Brett and manager Whitey Herzog on the Sweet Spot. The ball presents in overall excellent condition with minimal toning throughout with all signatures appearing in "8-9" strength. This emerging team would reach the ALCS four more times in the following five years and fall to the Philadelphia Phillies in the 1980 World Series, the first showing in franchise history. They would capture their first title in 1985. PSA/DNA LOA included.
