This lot originates from the John O'Connor Signed Baseball Collection. John would visit baseball stadiums collecting players signatures on baseballs to send to sick children through various children's charities. These were some of the balls remaining at the time of his death. There is a handwritten number on each baseball in his collection, this corresponded to an inventory list he kept and was written in his hand. Full letter COA from JSA.
