In one of baseball great rivalries, the Brooklyn Dodgers faced the New York Yankees in the World Series seven times during the period 1941-1956. While the Yankees came out on top in six of these match-ups, "The Boys of Summer" got their taste of glory in 1955. The Dodgers seven-game victory in the 1955 Fall Classic, was the only World Series win of their long Brooklyn tenure. Commemorate this long ago triumph, with this 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers team-signed baseball. This nicely preserved Official National League Giles ball (EX-MT) is decorated with (23) autographs, however (5) of them are noted as clubhouse examples. There's still plenty to cheer about here, as the autographs of legends Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Gil Hodges, Walt Alston, Sandy Koufax, and Carl Furillo have all passed the certification process with flying colors.
