Presented here is a signed photograph including Jimmie Foxx as coach of a little league team signed by the Hall of Famer. Jimmie Foxx was one of the most prodigious sluggers in the Pre-WWII era of baseball, becoming only the second man in history to reach the 500 home run mark. A first baseman, Foxx made his debut with the Philadelphia Athletics when he was still a junior in high school, and after 11 years in Philadelphia, he spent the next seven years with the Boston Red Sox. Foxx ended his career as a pitcher with the Philadelphia Phillies, starting two games and compiling a 1.59 ERA and 1-0 record over 22 2/3 innings pitched.
