Offered is a limited-edition Joe DiMaggio signed and statistics inscribed Official American League Gene A. Budig baseball. The Hall of Fame New York Yankees centerfielder signed his name in blue pen on the sweet spot. DiMaggio inscribed “.352 BA” to the left of his signature, and “361 HRS” to the right. Above the sweet spot DiMaggio inscribed “56 in ’41 HOF ‘55”, while below the sweet spot he inscribed “#5 MVP ’39, ’41, ‘47”. The ball is stamped with the logo “Joe DiMaggio 5 The Yankee Clipper” in blue to the left of the OAL Budig stamp. The ball is stamped “32/41” in black. This ball is authenticated and encapsulated by Beckett Authentication (0008601779) which has graded the signature and inscription 10. This item also has been authenticated by JSA (Y48520) and comes with a COA from Preferred Customer Service (A10471), which includes a 4 x 6-inch color photograph of DiMaggio signing.
