1988 Los Angeles Dodgers World Series Champs Team Signed Baseball JSA COA

$2,995.00

Picked to finish 4th in 1988, the Los Angeles Dodgers turned out to be a big surprise that year, going the distance for a World Series championship. The heart and soul of the '88 Dodgers squad, were slugger Kirk Gibson, who won the NL MVP award, and ace Orel Hershiser, who won the Cy Young award, and was also the World Series MVP. Overseeing this stunning campaign, was Hall of Fame skipper Tommy Lasorda, who was named Manager of the Year. Hershiser was brilliant all season, winning 23 games and setting a record with 59 consecutive scoreless innings, and Gibson provided the season's most memorable moment, with a gallant pinch-hit homer in Game 1 of the '88 World Series, that saw him limp-trot around the bases, while pumping his fist during his walk-off dinger. These heroes and two dozen of their teammates have provided their signatures on an Official1988 Official World Series ball
