1995 Mariano Rivera Signed Game Worn Columbus Clippers Jersey. In May of 1995 the New York Yankees changed Major League Baseball forever debuting a 25-year-old Panamanian relief pitcher named Mariano Rivera from their Columbus Clippers farm-team. Rivera’s would go on to devastate opponents until 2013 leaving no question about his Hall of Fame candidacy. With his Cooperstown enshrinement an inevitable conclusion to his storied career, presented is a unique vestige of a time before his first ever pitch for the New York Yankees.

Rivera has the career record for most saves (652) in the history of baseball. He is a 13-time All-Star (1997, 1999-2002, 2004-2006, 2008-2011, 2013), a 5-time World Series Champion (1996, 1998-200, 2009), and the 1999 World Series MVP. Rivera is often referred to as the greatest closer of all-time.

Signed by the New York Yankees in 1991, Rivera enjoyed a great minor league career capped by his 1994 effort with Columbus Clippers recording a record of 10-2 in 22 starts, beginning the 1995 season with Columbus, he was ranked the ninth-best prospect in the Yankees farm system. His debut with New York was on May 23, 1995.

The left chest displays a large embroidered Clippers logo patch, while the back features "43" in blue tackle twill.
