The greatest closer of all-time and the first unanimous Hall of Fame inductee Mariano Rivera recorded his 30th postseason save during Game 3 of the 2003 World Series against the Florida Marlins at Pro Player Stadium in Miami. Rivera earned the save by pitching two scoreless innings, coming into the eighth inning with the Yankees up 2-1. Rivera recorded a perfect top half of the eighth and allowed only a single to Jeff Conine in the ninth as the Yankees had already padded their lead to 6-1.

This offered Official 2003 WORLD SERIES baseball was the final pitched ball of 2003 World Series Game 3 and Rivera’s 30th career postseason save outing. This ball displays outstanding game use and the Hall of Famer has signed his name in blue pen below the gold stamped World Series logo on the side panel and inscribed “2003 W.S. vs Marlins Game 3 ball save”.
