Moments earlier, he had swiped the 939th base of his Hall of Fame career to pass the legendary Lou Brock, en route to a final tally of 1,406, a record as safe as any in professional sports.
Presented is a rare game used baseball from that historic afternoon by the Bay, a well-worn Official American League (Brown) ball signed twice by the game's greatest lead-off man and notated, "5/1/91 game ball" in his hand. COA from PSA/DNA.
