Roberto Clemente 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates WS Champs Team Signed Baseball JSA COA

Sold out

Few remembrances are more storied in “Steel City” lore than Bill Mazeroski’s “walk off” clout to win the 1960 World Series. Despite being outscored by a two to one margin by the vaunted Yankees, the feisty Bucs determinism permanently etched their postseason glory. Featuring (26) members from the championship squad, presented is a signed 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates team ball. The Giles Official National League ball was signed in a blue ballpoint pen.  Highlights include Sweet Spot: Murtaugh (ch); West Panel: Umbricht (d.1964,), Clemente (d.1972,); East Panel: Haddix (d.1994,), Mizzell (d.1999, ); North Panel: Baker (d.1999), Hoak (d.1969), Stuart (d.2002); South Panel: Burgess (d.1991), Mazeroski, Nelson (d.2006,) and Groat.
