The youngest player to ever be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame at the age of 36, Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher Sandy Koufax left an indelible mark on baseball after spending 12 seasons in the MLB. Considered to be one of the best pitchers ever to take the mound, Koufax would reach his peak from 1961-1966, earning the NL MVP Award and Cy Young Award during the Dodgers 1963 World Series season. During his peak period, he would earn six All-Star nominations, three Cy Young Awards, two World Series MVP honors, and four no-hitters during the 1962,1963,1964 seasons and a perfect game in 1965, the first pitcher to ever throw four no-hitters in Major League history.
Presented here is an Official Allan H. Selig Major League Dodger Stadium 50th Anniversary logo baseball signed by Sandy Koufax. Koufax signed and inscribed “4 No Hitters 62 63 64 65” to commemorate his historic feat on the south panel of the baseball using a ballpoint pen and blue ink under the Dodger Stadium 50th Anniversary stamp. The baseball is bright white and in great condition. The signed and inscribed baseball comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD627669).
