A quartet of tough autographs is up for grabs with this multi-signed Official National League Frick baseball. This ancient orb bears factory labeling stamps consistent with the Frick model produced during the period 1936-1940, and it would be a decent collectible even if it wasn't signed. The (4) signatures make it a tremendous find, as the subjects departed for "The Field of Dreams" long, long ago. All of the signatures have been taped over, and all remain clearly recognizable. As fortune would have it, the boldest signature is that of Hall of Famer Honus Wagner (d.1955). Also signed by Hall of Famers "Arky" Vaughan (d.1952) and "Kiki" Cuyler (d.1950); and baseball lifer Chuck Dressen (d.1966). From the looks of it, it's a good bet this ball was period signed during the defined factory labeling period, circa 1936-1937, when Wagner and Vaughan were with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and Dressen and Cuyler were with the Cincinnati Reds, likely during a meeting of the two teams.
