The Sox finished the season with a record of 86-76, holding the dubious distinction of surrendering 13 of Roger Maris' 61 home runs the season Maris broke Ruth's single-season record. The toned ball contains the slightly faded signatures of Hall of Famers Al Lopez, Nellie Fox, and Minnie Minoso, with additional signatures from Don Larsen, Bob Roselli, Ray Herbert, Andy Carey, and Billy Goodman. The ball comes with an LOA from JSA for the signatures.
